I don’t photograph weddings as a checklist of expected moments.
I look for what makes this day yours.
The people. The atmosphere. The way you look at each other when nobody is asking you to look at the camera.
I want the photographs to feel like your wedding, not like somebody else’s idea of one.
I don’t want you to perform for my camera.
A wedding is already full of real things happening.
I don’t need to create emotions that are already there.
When a portrait needs direction, I will direct you. I will work with the light, the space, the clothes, the movement and the composition.
But when the moment is real, I prefer not to interrupt it.
Sometimes the strongest photograph happens when you forget that I’m there.
I look beyond the obvious moments.
Of course I photograph what matters: the ceremony, the people you love, the celebration.
But I also watch what happens around it.
A look across the room.
Someone waiting before the ceremony.
A hand on a shoulder.
A few quiet seconds between two important moments.
I photograph not only what happens.
I photograph what happens in between.
That is often where the real story lives.
Your wedding should not look like someone else’s wedding.
I don’t arrive with a fixed collection of poses that I repeat from one couple to another.
Every wedding gives me something different: architecture, clothes, personalities, light, energy, movement.
I work with what is already there and build the visual story around you.
I want to create photographs that could only belong to this day and to these people.
